If you're thinking about getting tattooed, but don't know where to start, here is some helpful information...
I want a tattoo, how do I book in?
To book in at Ouch! Firstly decide which artist you would like to do your tattoo. You can have a look at each artist portfolio here or on our Facebook page or their Instagram. Send them an email with as much information about what you want to get and where. We may need to book you a free consultation to discuss your tattoo with your chosen artist. Bring with you your ideas and and some cash for a deposit. Remember, you need to be 18 or over to get a tattoo. We will need to see photo ID (passport/drivers license).
Why can't you give me a quote on Facebook messenger?
We don't quote over Facebook as some tattoos need a consultation.
I have an idea but want my tattoo drawn up...
An artist will only draw up your tattoo design once a deposit has been paid and an appointment date booked in.
Can you do Cover ups of unwanted tattoos?
Yes we can! We recommend that you come in and speak to your chosen artist, they can advise you on what is the best style of tattoo for your cover up. Please note that some tattoos are not coverable and your artist may suggest you need a course of laser which we can provide at the shop.
I'm not 18 yet, can I still get a tattoo if my Mum/Dad comes with me?
Absolutely NOT. UK law states it is illegal to tattoo persons under the age of 18.
Can I still book in if I am not 18 yet?
Yes, as long as you are 18 by the date of your appointment. Photo ID required.
I've booked in but now decided I don't want the tattoo, can I get my deposit back?
No, deposits are non refundable no exceptions, as stated on our terms and conditions which you receive when you book in.
I haven't received my design via email...
We are a very busy studio, please be patient, your artist will get to your design as soon as they can.
I've changed my mind about the design and my appointment is today.
If time permits, your design will have to be redrawn within your appointment time. Therefore your tattoo may not be finished
within that session.
